So is there any shot of DP showing up in Secret Wars, because I have no idea how that would work. They’d have to nerf his 4th walking break abilities if he were to interact with other MCU characters.

You mean secret wars secret invasion is the skrull story that they burned on the boring Disney+ Nick fury show that 17 people watched

I think it’s possible tbh. He shows up in crossover stuff in the comics. I think they would just have to tone it down to make it work. He can still quip and lot and annoy the other characters but just not go OTT with direct 4th wall stuff. Maybe one joke about how he’s finally made it to the avengers, but he says it to the other characters so it’s kind of a 4th wall joke but not directly to the audience.

He could also just show up for one sequence and have a cool fight scene along side some other heroes.

It would take clever writing but with how cleverly Infinity War/Endgame were written, with each character being perfectly placed into the story in a way that makes sense and fits, I can see them figuring out something that works.

My theory is they’re gonna use him sparingly but that scene from this of him dead and Thor crying is gonna be written into one of the next avengers movies, retroactively making that joke from this film into a crazy bit of foreshadowing. that TVA monitor retroactively being a glimpse for a future avengers movie

i think i already ranted but man, no domino and minor parts from past characters in the deadpool universe sucked. loved them all personally and would have appreciated them way more than the cameos (i get it, ushering out the fox characters)

  • I just realized the big dude with the striped shirt is from Punisher.

Yall know I'm stickler for consistency and continuity...

So the TVA agents are supposed to be regular humans essentially, right?

Yet they were able to fight Loki, who's physiology grants him super strength comparable to Asgardians.

Loki himself is shown to be able to withstand attacks from the Hulk, yet in his own Disney+ show he's struggling with these normal humans.

Meanwhile here's Deadpool who is essentially a super soldier comparable to Captain America (or if we're wanking him, DP is at best comparable to Spider-Man if we are to go off the strength feats that Wolverine displays in this film) easily tearing these TVA agents apart...

would need to rewatch but lots of loki is him with the collar on when fighting the tva dorks right?

also they kinda built up the TVA with a couple "more formidable" named TVA goons in loki iirc

Yeah it dampened his "powers" but that doesn't effect what is a part of his physiology, right?

Not necessarily, but Loki's physiology is all over the place. They never show him like, throwing a car but obv he tanked the hulks hits with only superficial damage. He also had his neck broken by thanos (and couldn't break his grip at all). The closest thing to a "crazy strength feat" they've given him is him lifting that building with telekinesis and tossing it with ease, but that's his powers and not super strength

I saw a Twitter post about where this Wolverine fits in Fox continuity and it’s like they forgot Fox timeline been a mess for years. Pretty sure it started retconning as soon as Origins of Wolverine lol

In the first Avengers film, I vividly remember him jumping several feet in the air when he attacks shield headquarters in the beginning.

He also kicked a dude in the air.

Was able to overpower Captain America in hand to hand combat.

And it's stated that him and Thor fight all the time growing up.

He might not be as physically powerful as Thor and Thanos, but it's clear that Loki is still superhuman in his own right.

DOFP doesn’t fix all of the plot holes though it just says they’re all connected and now there’s this new timeline

But does that really matter too much tho when they're all gonna get smashed into one universe post secret wars? Or even rn?
