I can see why people hate it and i can see why people love it, it’s just a whole new experience. Should def check out tarkovsky, no idea DS was inspired by his movies

Amazing, thanks for bringing this up! I can definitely see the Tark influence throughout the world in Death Stranding. The landscape of Andrei Rublev and mystical elements of Stalker are quite prominent once you make the connection.

i beat this a minute ago and i would never pick it up and play post beating it.... s*** is so boring but i might do a playthrough again one day far in the future the war levels was hard

Yeah the games replayability is very low, agreed.
"kojima need to stop with arthouse games tho" i do not agree with. Such a big name in video games trying something so different is awesome. Videogames need something new these days, the indie devs are giving that and Kojima is giving that now.

Anyone that defends this game is f***in trash, this is insulting to the consumer. Graphics are among the best ever made for a game, story is interesting, music is amazing. But that’s it, gameplay is f***in stupid. You’re literally spending hours delivering packages through the same repetitive terrain.
This had potential to be the greatest game ever and they ruined it by making it a post apocalyptic UPS game

I have never seen anyone say that everyone should like this game. When people defend this game they always talk about it in a 'i get why people do not like it' type of way.
People that hate on the game seem to be on the end where they do not even understand why someone would like this game.
