Thats a way to simplify it, but there was always many many ways you could use stealth, and the map variance on those missions was great. You could literally go on a hill, scout the site, and get to use your brain contemplating all the ways to infiltrate but which will be best for the S.
How do you get the S in DS? By figuring out the path from A to B where your cargo won't get rained on or dropped.
Big falloff.
you can go on a hill, scout the site and get to use your brain in death stranding too
lmao goofball
mgs 5 gameplay is the only rhing it had and it was a very generic third person shooter so its hard to f*** that up
boring story, unfinished game, bland open world, repetetive as f***, only two different biomes etc
cant believe you guys take this guy seriously
Only thing repetitive were the outposts. The main missions had great variety in maps.
If you wanna say its mainly a gameplay game though, fine. But then lets not act like DS is anything but a story game.

death stranding gameplay s***s all over mgs 5

Cool dude but you wanna counter the part where I said the infiltration you do in DS is a huge fall off from MGS or just nitpick?

ah forgot youre the 14 year old whos been making the same joke for 3 hours.
Might just block u so I don't confuse you with people in here who have some semblance of a brain anymore.

the fact that you think death stranding only has you bringing cargo from a to b without any other gameplay says enough bro
you been in here for an hour
couldve worked in that hour and be that much closer to buyin a ps4
Death Stranding’s open world design in any other game would be seen as soulless, lifeless, shallow, etc. and s*** some say it is here too.
But in my humble opinion, it works in this game because of how the game forces you to respect the terrain and actually care about its structure
It makes me think about HOW I would traverse through a level, plus the pre-planning / strategy I’m gonna use to get to my destination. Add in variables like the BTs & the MULEs and the much harder versions of this enemy later on & it’s like damn.
And that’s one aspect of the gameplay imo

OK before I block you for having no life and saying nothing more than "derrr bet u own xbox" for hours, tell me about the depth of the gameplay or your favorite aspect?
This gon be good
OK since you're going to act like its hard to answer your favorite aspect of gameplay....
Tell me about the depth of the gameplay. Some are hating on MGS5 which is laughable when the creativity to how you can approach missions is staggering.
Whats the depth in DS' gameplay? Whether I force a truck over a hill or whether I leave the truck and walk the rest of the way?
I literally answered you. You answered with creativity with no details. Besides that, you keep praising a game that was good but got boring right after you beat it and was easily one of the easiest games of the series. You never even played the earlier ones that were so much better. But serious question how old are you, because if that's the only one you've played then you can't be that old.

death strandings open world definitely wouldnt have worked in another game

you been in here for an hour mad as s*** because you didnt get to play a game but im the one with no life?
he really thought mgs 5 was creative when its literally just two options: sneaking or all out guns

The timing of me posting something that kinda answers the question you have right before you post it is somewhat amusing, I won’t lie

Everything you just listed for the aspect of stealth, scouting, and the variety of approaches is the same as DS. You'll argue against that, but you just described it to a t.

No details? What details do you need bruh lol there are multiple paths, multiple weapons and/or distractions, great map variations throughout the main missions, and a system built on choice yet strict in how it grades you.
You literally just have to avoid your package getting rained on to get an S in DS, while in MGS I could explore 2-3 different ways to accomplish a mission and still not do it flawlessly enough for the S.
You literally can't answer a question about your favorite aspect of DS gameplay, so now resorting to "how old r u to not play MGS3". Sad.
each twist caught me off guard tbh, especially amelie just being a ka and also that Bridget pulled the trigger with johns hand
Yeah. That Bridget scene makes sense as to why Cliff didn’t killin John

Damn the blind love for DS is strong if you think the infiltration is DS is anywhere close to as good as MGS5 lolll
Never really played any Kojima games before this, contemplating picking up a PS3 to play that MGS collection after I beat this

It was just a simple question. I was literally curious, as you think MGSV is amazing which implies that you haven't played enough games to realize it's an okay game. Fun at first with no replay value.

Yikes. You have no intelligent counters to my points, so your last 2 posts have resorted to "how old r u to not play MGS3" and "you're just not playing enough videogames"
Move along now
Damn the blind love for DS is strong if you think the infiltration is DS is anywhere close to as good as MGS5 lolll
Hating a game blindly without really playing it doesn't do you justice just so you know. At least in my case I'm enjoying the game that I'm playing.
