DS is a walking sim lazy in its execution, and lazier in its action. Truly a shame people praise this game when the crouch sim escaping BTs is is lazy and boring

finished the game today. one of the greatest I've ever played. I'm no Kojima stan and a good amount of the writing here was pretty clunky, but the overall plot was so strong and the gameplay so fun that I loved every moment.

if you think it’s a walking sim then you didn’t get a bike or a car or a floating carrier or a zip line because you got stuck like 5 hours in lmaoooo wtf you seriously can’t talk about this game without sounding like the thousands of mindless contrarians just saying it’s a walking sim only because it’s a popular, well received game and that’s the first thing you do is have to walk at the beginning. when you get grenade launchers and rocket launchers the fun of the game isn’t about traversing, it’s about the fact that you had to struggle so hard to get to the point where you’re now a badass toting rockets like it’s no big deal. That’s called game progression.

make sure you go to roboticist first, read all her emails and do a few tasks for her to get the all terrain skeleton lv 3 which helps you move thru snow super fast

That’s not even what happened at all. He said he knew the twists because he a***yzed all the trailers, I didn’t even watch them and so the entire plot was filled with surprises.
