yea and it’s too bad because Returnal is surprisingly good and I’m not a fan of roguelikes

the sci-fi genre is soooo saturated with samey stuff yet Returnal felt so fresh and filled with imagination. I hope it doesn’t go overlooked because of how people label it or because it came out early in the PS5 cycle

i agree, and even without that part, it's a roguelike.

so unlike judging a game on just story which you could just watch, it's main essence is through immersion and difficulty, which you can't experience without actually playing

stop trying to fit me into a box because i didnt like the last 2 PS5 exclusives LOL im playing Deathloop and Kena day one and was previously unsure about Kena, looks beautiful tho

nigga nobody is forcing you in a box. not liking a genre is different from implying a game is so bad it has to be refunded

not liking a genre doesn't mean a game is bad, especially if you haven't even actually played it. that was my point.

but yeah, kena looks pretty af and I'm trying to see if i should cop deathloop and tales rn or if I should just wait. sadly i got a digital ps5 rn, so sales will be ass

wow i said Refundal and it triggered all of u but i really wasnt trying to, light joke, i dont think its a bad game, its quite original and looks cool enough

but the game isnt worth keeping after beating according to a ton of players, thats a general consesus reception if u look around rn

id actually try Returnal if someone else copped for me but why spend the cash knowing i dont like roguelike games? who does that

i'd agree, because it's a roguelike, once you beat the final boss it kinda has no replayability cause it's not that many bosses

unless they add more bosses, free or paid, then it'll stay like that sadly. it's still good, but i think they used the graphics, atmosphere and story to balance the few bosses, compared to ones like dead cells and s*** with way more

i think 40-45 is a better price to pay for it, but it was still worth retail

edit: lol nvm it was one of those new $70 games, f*** that price on principle, but worth the $60

Deathloop however... looks so fun and i know it's kinda like one but not a roguelike so its iffy, but Arkane's stories are to die for and the first person combat looks enticing

according to a ton of players? lol? they’re all idiots because it was announced a while back that new content is coming to Returnal, they’re gonna regret selling their copy when the trailers for that dlc drops

also I’ll wanna replay it when the PS5 pro drops so I wouldn’t sell it if I could, but to each his own
