I’ve never had an Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter and I’m still self conscious

I only use Twitter for friends & to talk to women I don't know irl yet while I only use Instagram for my music business stuff.

Just don't take it too seriously & don't stay on it too long then ur good imo.

I have both a personal and a “spam” account. If you’re concerned about all the negative stuff that comes with social media, I just advise make a spam account and follow you interests for news, banter instead of people you know

Ktt2 is a forum but to me it has the same effect as a social media if ya get me

I suggest deleting it for a few months then coming back with a fresh perspective. Now I barely use Instagram, but when I do it’s nice to check up on stuff old friends are up to here and there.

For adults specifically, social media is basically an extension of High School. Especially Facebook. People still clique up with the cool kids. Admit they won’t like a post depending on who posted it, they feel like they have to prove themselves constantly. I post this in every thread like this but social media is literally just a digital lunch room. The internet used to be the escape from that s*** but the internet is so general now it’s become that very thing. It’s not even a not using social media thing, it’s just not using social media like it’s high school and you’ll be fine. Also avoiding the tumblr refugee sxn of twitter.
