I mean she doesn't look white to me
these mfs obsessed with race might drag everyone into the white bag and think they slick for calling a poc white
Never met someone with this haircut who was nice. Always got an attitude about something
this s*** literally says "guilt free" on it too lol. implying if you get the regular s*** you should "feel guilty"
I can see it, that marketings kinda dirty
lol they're literally called "eat me guilt free"?
i wouldn't say that it implies that
the marketing appeals to people who are on diets for sure, bc some of those people are the kind who'll associate sweets with guilt (due to their diet) and see "guilt-free" as speaking to them and suggesting they buy that cookie
i think it has the effect of implying that other products can instill "guilt" in someone, but that's ultimately gonna come down to whether a person believes they should feel guilty already. i don't think any sorta significant number of ppl will develop a new guilt because of packaging alone
also it's a froyo place right? the whole model of that genre of food is "this is a little bit healthier than the alternative, so you should eat this to not feel like you're indulging even though you are". i think the marketing's supposed to be around that idea and isn't necessarily suggesting guilt any more than froyo usually does
what r ur thots? this all is related to a perspective i don't understand (which demi's portraying) where the argument assumes the people that would be "helped" by demi's idea are easily influenced by these sorta problems she points out
A b**** will get opiate addicted and complain about COOKIES
people that come off hard d**** turn to food instead
This is crazy lol isn’t this what most people would consider doing better but she has a problem with it? One thing I gotta say about Demi is her whole view on body shaming/positivity etc has always been iffy
I always try to root for her but she really can be annoying at times. Like why as a celebrity would you attack a small business like this and for what exactly. Diet culture is a problem but this was not an adequate response to the situation.
“GUNNA HITS THE FATTEST “SLAT” OF ALL TIME ON LIVE WHILE DOING WHIPPETS & THEN FKN DIES”

It seems to me she's saying that people with eating disorders, body issues, etc. shouldn't have to see "guilt free sugar free" when they're coming in for a treat.
I mean I guess I see what she's saying. It's something I never would've thought of. I'm not buying or looking at anything prepackaged like that if i'm at a food joint. Except dairy queen those starkisses are fire.
But like if I was obese, depressed, getting me a cup of froyo after working my souless job, and I seen some cookies tryna guilt me I'd say f*** those cookies and whoever made 'em. it'd be one thing if they were just sugar free but I hate the whole "guilt free" marketing gimmick. I have a disdain for ads and the marketing industry as a whole though and I always assume the worst intentions from them.
I do love these cookies though

Obviously its for people dieting especially people that are overweight & trying to better themselves.
Its an alternative that is also suppose to appeal as the same level of treat, hence guilt free. Just healthier. Its avtually an encouragement for new dieter's.
Also, not everything is going to revolve around you specifically.
Those kind of stores too are all about providing healthier options for diets & alts for health problems, which they also explained.
She's literally make a big deal out of nothing, using her celebrity to destroy one of few small businesses & she's in a place where there whole point is to provide alts with the reg.
That place isnt for her. She's a loser.

yeah i'm not saying i agree with her but i can see the angle she's making
“White privilege”? She’s Mexican
Her skin is white coloured. Her name is Demi.
She’s privileged.
She has to realize that this is an unreasonable level of catering.
They are not going to move sugar free cookies to appeal to your eating disorder. Im sorry, its just not going to happen.
Thats the limit
