Yeah I think it’s extended tho
New season soon?
Season 2 started this or last week, where they showing the movie in episode format. First episode was completely new footage but the next 6 episode will be the movie with 70 new scenes throughout.
The ‘real’ new season will start in december

Good question,
Since we have no information for the new scenes and how much they’ll actually add, i’ll just wait a bit to see if it’s worth watching that. I’m sure the movie will flow better since it’s basically one sitting whereas the episodes will have a new opening and ending inbetween.
I am a anime only on this one but saw the movie in cinema, amazing experience
I just finished Mugen Train
what is next? I am confused
with the shorter modern anime format, its so difficult to build up the stakes for a villain like back in the day, but they do a pretty damn good job in the moments they get with Muzan
starting the redlight district now

Examples of animes with longer format?
Also does anyone know when new episodes come out on Crunchyroll?
I know it's Sunday but can't find an exact time

Mainly just the legendary shonen from our childhoods. AoT is the only recent one I think of that still cakes in tons of expositional chapters/eps.
I think nowadays everyone does this streamlined format, which can still lead to good character development
