Well each episode is about 2 chapters
Episode 1 of this season was like 3 or 4 lol
i get it, but they’re not gunna pass up dragging this out as long as possible lol. look at how MAPPA is doing Attack on Titan
i’m just saying, there will certainly be more than 26 episodes to end the show
Crazy thing about Demon Slayer is the creator who I still think hasn't revealed themselves yet is a woman who's like 33 years old

Oh for sure
They can get 40+ if they wanna drag it

women make the best manga. look at Q Hayashida
I'm really tired of animes and back stories.
Well at least in this case, Mist packed up Upper 5 so quick he didn’t get one
I figure they’ll do 26 + 14 or something
Think they will end the series with another movie, given the success of the first one
I forget the hashira training arc is only like 6 chapters
And they reportedly already started the infinity castle arc so next season may actually be the last season
i know this has been said a million times, but the animation of this show is just f***ing amazing. the storyline and actual exposition might not be great, but the animation makes it a must watch.
imagine if an actual GOAT battle Shonen like Yu Yu Hakusho got this level of animation
it’d be over
I’d hate if Yu Yu was animated like this. Now if it had Mappa animating it like JJK….
there is no anime greater at having mfs be completely fatigued and still continue improving throughout the fight lol
Just based on how many people it took to fight an upper rank, Rengoku and Tokito are
The chapters of Demon Slayer aren't long
About 15 pages on average
At the start they were over 20 pages long
That's why season 1 got 26 episodes lol
I’m always stunned with how short this series is. Pretty much the best OP competition we’ve had in a decade and it felt like it came and went in a couple years
I don’t know of another shonen that was this impactful in that short of time tbh
Wait…they had a movie for this arc?
I never even heard of it until I wondered why this thread had so few pages and looked at the first page
Side note: not going to rehash the pacing or the storytelling device arguments (it isn’t great), but they did do some really solid development for Tokito and Genya. If those stories are just told in a linear way (I’m assuming Mitsuri will be the same way) and the fights get a higher %age of the ratio, I actually think this is a good arc
The pacing is off this season but I feel like some of ya were over exaggerating. But granted I didn't watch weekly and mostly binge in chunks.
Not seeing how the tengen and rengoku story arcs so much different than this arc with their own backstories

Facts. Rengoku just ran into the wrong nigga smh. Sucks uzui the worst because dude was dropped out

The thing that would make me dislike this arc’s story chops is that Genya basically has the same backstory as Kamado, just with a spin on the sibling element. I think it does a good job of explaining his character though
I thought the Tokito backstory was simply better than Sound Hashira’s. I also think his character progression through the Upper Rank fight was better. Unfortunately, the way they told that story was just far worse this time around
I binged the whole thing like you though so I dunno. I def asked myself “why is this nigga still in a bubble after 3 straight episodes” last night

Yup
Next season can be the last
I been hoping they working on a prequel behind the scenes of past hashiras

There’s too much meat on the bones for someone to not run some more content in the future, and idek how it ends. If titty hashira survives, her, Tokito and maybe the fella that always cries, they could get a little slice of life joint

Yea maybe
I don’t think there’s been a modern shonen that could succeed more with a slice of life honestly
Based on the outros alone…I think it might be more enjoyable than the actual series lol
Voluntarily asking for more content of that crying mf
Dude's been around for like 4 minutes combined in this series so far man lol
There's nothing worse than characters being introduced that have real weight in their universe and that s*** never gets shown to the viewer
We got 9 hashira from the list I've seen and 6 would've had some real moment after this battle. With 3 Upper Ranks and one big baddie left, we're still on pace for all of em to do something, but I don't think I'm a bad guy for wanting to see the main heroes get some more burn!

Oh I misunderstood, thought you meant the yellow mc.
