Breh you will def get more than that, the book is called the greatest scifi book by many for a reason. Only thing you need tp consider is that this just the beginning of the story.

movie feels like it's ending in the middle of the story, which it is. feels like a big introduction but not in a bad way

but it absolutly needs a sequel. without a second part, it would feel very weird

it really does feel like the first part of a saga
