diorMaybe. In terms of artistic scope I'd say it'll be far less ambitious, but as a blockbuster it should definitely live up to modern space opera standards. Of course its not seeing Jodorowsky in any capacity, which is why he isn't even worth mentioning lol.
Greatest movie never made
All I'm afraid is that Denis' Dune won't be as vibrant as Lynch's one. Dune needs to be weird and colorful.

Timmy has no range at all and Denis has proven to be one of the worst blooming directors in recent years but I am in for a proper adaptation. Doubt it surpasses Lynch. Doesn't have Virginia Madsen.
