I just finished watching on hbo max and i think i really need to see part 2 to judge
It felt like there was a lot of time wasted in this... Some of that feels like it was setup though so idk
HBO max smh. Nah there wasn’t any time wasted IMO. It’s definitely setting up some for part 2. I think the book has too much for one part based on what people are saying who read it.

Dune, Arrival and 2049 are all better films then a majority of Sci Fi films i have seen in my life
Even some of my favorite Sci Fi films aren’t touching the quality of these films
facts onlyTechnical achievement is there, but replay value kinda ass. I'd put on The Matrix, Alien, and Ex Machina to watch over those any day (sans Dune cause I haven't seen it yet).
