The only reason actors dont want the simultaneous release is because they’ll pocket less money. They are so out of touch with reality. They dont want to take any hit like the rest of us have been since April.
With WW84 currently underperforming, Hollywood still hasn’t fully grasped that there’s a pandemic and everything will flop.
Preserving Cinema is just not a top priority for the average movie goer, and that demo wont be returning to the theaters until late 2021. HBO Max is the way to go until 2022.
Im actually surprised Hollywood hasnt tried to be the hero of 2020 by making their movies available online instead of delaying and fighting each other. I guess they just care about their extra millions a lot more which isn’t that shocking afterall.

Dune isn’t really a Fall movie. October is a bad date for it. Early December (after Halloween and thanksgiving) or early May are what fit the movie the best (judging by the first movie)

kind of agree with this, however I can kind of see why WB is hesitant in backing Denis. he's one of my favorite directors but his movies never have big returns or commercial success.
