biggest gripe with the movie was paul and chani relationship
timmy and zendaya have no chemistry imo, it’s a shame because both give great performances but I didn’t buy the romance
Might be my favorite part of the movie he KILLED this
Him picking that guy and scaring him into reverence was insane

Nah it does have some great visual moments 100% some great shots. Some shots the scale of which and the feeling hasn't been attempted in a moment. I don't think its necessarily colors as contrast for some. I can't speak for them though. Example if you look at that bottom left image it feels like a filter over it. Likely due to twitter and compression though
I have to come clean
I got paid to like this movie
looking like its gonna have a solid opening weekend in the box office. i still think it should've stayed at the late 2023 release date. november/december had multiple huuuuge flops. dune would've been the only thing of quality and gotten the holiday boost.
but really the ONLY thing that matters is it does well enough to get the 3rd green lit
This was amazing & well and truly the first movie that was as epic and awe-inspiring in a cinema as the LOTR trilogy.
When we get Dune 3, this will firmly be placed in the pantheon of the greatest trilogies ever, no doubts after this movie.
Hans solidified himself as top 3 movie composers ever with this one for me.
Jaw-dropping and the final third of the movie will go down as one of the most epic in recent movie history for me.
Wow.

Dead
Finally got to watch this last night.
Wow man just wow that was f***ing amazing. I'm still shocked at how good it was and HOW GOOD TIMOTHEE CHALAMAT's performance was!!!! Everyone was amazing in that movie but after that one bit, I think you know what I mean, honestly it went up another level and so did the movie.
10/10
Austin Butler was amazing as well but he could've had a bit more screen time.
The ending was perfect but now we have to wait 5-7 MORE YEARS FOR MESSIAH.
F*** it I'm reading the book
😮💨 this scene
Whole theather was in chills after this
Heard my wife and multiple people around me whisper that they got chills after this scene
My fav scene in the movie by far
