I saw dune 1 in imax dome and it was a cool experience I guess but tbh I don’t wanna see a movie in that format again

Amazing IMAX experience

I'm watching it in Dolby Cinema since it's not 70mm. The sound and color in Dolby are just better and the seats are perfect for a long movie. I don't think I would make it through the whole movie in an IMAX where all the bassy dialogue is just "womp womp?" "womp! wompwompwomp." like no.

I typically prefer Dolby as well but I’m not worried about it cuz I’ll be seeing this Atleast 3 times anyway. I enjoy seeing both Dolby and imax formats to see which one I’ll pick for my third viewing.

just got an email from my theater saying there has been an issue with production of the imax 70mm prints for my theater and the fan first screening wont be imax 70mm but instead digital

that theater has a xenon projector so will be limited to 1.90
