Jan 27, 2024·editedOne thing I hope Denis captures in this movie, is the moment when Stilgar stops seeing Paul as a friend/son, and truly has that come to Jesus moment, and sees him as the Lisan Al-Gaib, and Paul also recognizes this instant, and is sadden by it. Iirc it’s also the moment Paul comes to the realization that he has failed to stop the Jihad.

emucakesI'm watching it in Dolby Cinema since it's not 70mm. The sound and color in Dolby are just better and the seats are perfect for a long movie. I don't think I would make it through the whole movie in an IMAX where all the bassy dialogue is just "womp womp?" "womp! wompwompwomp." like no.
