There is going to be a lot more appreciation for Part 1 after this movie comes out .
I know a lot of people say they thought Dune Part 1 was too boring and not enough action, but the film was absolutely necessary to set up all the world building and lore.
When people look back on it, they’ll realize Denis did a phenomenal job with establishing this universe
The first Dune was such a good movie. Watched it like 7 times. Not sure what people don't like about it. Not all movies need to have mindless action that doesn't make sense. You want that s***? Go watch Transformers

Just don't go in expecting mindless action. The movie is 100% necessary for the lore and for where the plot is going. Without Dune Part 1, we have no Trilogy etc.

“It’s slow”
“The visuals were boring”
🙄

Yea I noticed people just don’t have patience for slow burn films anymore.
If you look at films back in like the 70s, a slow burn film was very common but nowadays people just don’t wanna take the time to watch movies like this
“It’s slow”
“The visuals were boring”
🙄
yeah, in this fast-paced landscape we're in, Dune actually requires some patience... so i get why this tiktok generation would call it slow
but boring visuals? nah man
it looks crisp and beautiful
sound design is top notch
i got a little lost on the story, but seeing all these news made me wanna watch the movie again!

Tik Tok generation thinks it’s slow
Superhero generation thinks it looks boring
The rewatch is definitely worth it i think more of it will sink in in the beginning.
I remember sitting in the theater and being in actual awe while watching this film.
Every shot in this film deserves some type of praise
I don’t understand how any one watched this and just thought “meh”
