Well yea usually when ppl bring up family trauma and what someone’s family dynamic is it’s in a way to provide mature insight & compassion.

Like “he in a survival street mode cause that’s all he ever was raised to be in”. Which is what Kendrick and lots of others touch on in their music, having empathy/compassion for ppl (including them) making mistakes as a product of their environment or not being raised to know better. Allowing and encouraging them to grow.

Ironically the Kendrick d***riders of the moment who supposedly support his ideals so much are doing the exact opposite from his message. They want someone to be as bad as the people who came before them, using family/upbringing as a negative “gotcha”, and as a way to hate someone more and bring them down.

Kendrick also backtracked completely on his messaging himself with the way he acted but ofcourse that’s not going to be acknowledged rn.
