I like the verses...hook not so much but it is definitely catchy

This album sounds like Cordae's new album if it was actually interesting with the nice mix of jazzy boom bap & trap.

Sanjuro gonna be the one that resonates with old school Denzel fans the most.

S*** smacks HARD. Cardo is easily top 5 producers today.

that's one of my only gripes with the album is there's a few songs especially in the middle like this one that feel incomplete or should be a bit longer idk

Its supposed to be like an interlude so i get it, but its soooo good man I wanted more.

First initial thoughts...its an excellent album. One of the best i've heard this year along with Few Good Things and Dawn FM. You can tell that Denzel took a long time to craft this. The mixing is immaculate and the production blew me away. Really beautiful piece of work. Its something different for him, while not really taking away from what made Denzel Denzel.

I'd give it an 8.5/10
