I know of them yeah. Never listened though
Listening to less rap
I've realized I really don't care for alot of the rap I had in my library
I think I saw a poster on some thread say that Kanye grabs influence from all genres and not specifically hip hop when it comes to making music. So I've been experimenting with that. And in general it helps expand the mind to new things and stimulates creativity. Starting with some classic rock (Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Black Sabbath).
I've also been looking into singing lessons and doing daily vocal exercises and warm ups.
Nothing wrong with that stuff its essential but if you're tryna use it for ideas in hip hop production consider checking out some synthpop

So Madlib released a Afro tape a few years ago and it took me that long to find out each song from the tracklist. After I was done with that I started listening to some international music including Ethiopian, Afrobeat, and Brazilian from sample of my favorite producers. Then fasted for 30 days from music lol.
Currently catching up to all of 2020's releases
