People in his neighborhood(Brooklyn - Lexington and Tompkins) already knew he sounded like Future before he blew up. Some musicians sound similar to other musicians and some are just unique has they develop musically.
New English is a great project that should've been way more polished before they dropped it. If they had cleaned that project up some it could've easily been a trap classic.
