Yah that's where I heard it and it kinda lines up with how they talked abt Lightfall in a couple of blog posts. Think the road to witch queen one is where they explained adding Final Shape to the roadmap

i'm enjoying the game personally but I'm not blind. this is clearly a step backwards in terms of story telling
I still havent really been able to play much outside of release day as i had to work all day yesterday. But when i get off today, imma put more time into it

Destiny has great lore snd a sick villain. They did really good storytelling in the last expansion Witch Queen, but latest one is a very obvious filler
