think the bigger question is what non-opium hip hop does @op actually listen to.

    Like a million things

I was actually stunned listening to this album, being my first complete impression of the guys music, man spammed the same approach nearly every song, lethargic flows minor amounts of creativity lol

i remember i had just saw the name pop up a lot and i was like “ok cool, new artist, let’s see what he got, cool aesthetics”

repetitive flows and monotonous prod, and then i later found out he was signed to carti

everything fell into place right afterwards was never about the dude’s music in the first place

he never said anything about rock in that post, and the fact you equate rock to a guitar really pretty much sums up how much you know about music just in general

Well half the album doesn’t have “guitars” then. So they didn’t listen to the album.

And I mean yeah, virtually all rock music uses guitars. Idk what point ur trying to make

obviously no one can fault you for that but you have to understand how ridiculous something like this thread is in the context of that

there’s so much that happened in rap music in just like 2012 to 2015 let alone from like let’s say 2000-2015 lol

it’s a bunch of people who barely even like or know actual fundamental rap music to begin with making sensationalist statements like this thread title lol
