gotcha. by art direction i thought you meant the covers.
as far as the change in artistic direction that you're alluding to, shouldn't that be more attributed to the changes happening in his own life? we've gotten quite a bit of insight into the struggles he was facing. maybe he just has more to talk about now?
My only issue with big Sean's is he seems very superficial in his content
I fear he's not gonna deliver a classic coherent, conceptual album, he's gonna rap about the same s*** as before + updates on his life now( including his new beliefs like the anti-vaxx message on "harder than my demons")... Without much depth...
I don't think he's that good of an artist to pull this woke aesthetic off but I'm excited to see what gives and hope to be proven wrong
still only like 6 solo songs tho
i’d say 7-8 songs that are basically solo if travis and dwele are hooks
I don’t think that’s the track unless there’s a beat switch. It’s the video in this one:

someone said this should be called Detroit: The Album and I have to agree.
I don't like when an album is a sequel to a mixtape lol.
Needs some Kanye and Push feats, cypher could've been something special but I can already tell Def Jam didn't want to fork over the money to get bigger artists.
Edit: I didn't realize the cypher was with Detroit artists
Or he wants to put on upcoming artists
just peeped TWENTY88 listed as a feature i hate when duos do that. how Sean a feature on his own s*** lol
it's probably just to keep that name visible but they did that one project and that's it so...
lol there's obviously going to be another twenty88 album
When’s even the last time we got a posse cut like that on a major album? 1Train is the only thing that comes to mind but I might be missing something
Really Doe
Or he wants to put on upcoming artists
Yes I already got corrected, thank you

it’s not even out
In for sean to disappoint me for the 6th time
I can see this song + video on tpab ^
!https://youtu.be/thVb6CIfNVEThis video^ screamed kendrick to me, the outfit, the mannerisms, the hair reminds me of kendrick lamar in this collab with Jay rock
!https://youtu.be/GTe57jQX5EgI'm just saying he reminds me of kendrick right now, he def shifted artistic direction to seem a little more woke rather than materialistic/mainstream...
There's no way u thought harder than my demons could fit on TPAB
In for sean to disappoint me for the 6th time
Tfw 0 expectations so I can't get disappointed
Or he wants to put on upcoming artists
He cant even put himself on
Tfw 0 expectations so I can't get disappointed
