Should I buy this? It’ll be my first Diablo game

play a couple of hours of diablo 3, im pretty sure its free on blizzard launcher, if you can see yourself sinking 100+ hours into it then buy, if youre not about no lifing the game i dont really see a point in getting it, there wont be another diablo game for another decade or so

im on xbox

and im down to no life games. I love rpgs

it looks like diablo 3 is on sale right now for $19, you also get diablo 2 if you buy the Diablo Prime Evil Collection for only $19.79, Diablo 4 played more like Diablo 3 so thats your best bet in finding out if you would like it, but like i said its a game where its almost a requirement to no life it, if you dont want to spend your money just watch build videos like this to see what kind of grinding youll have to do

diablo is game where you play for hours at a time (atleast in my experience), really fun game where you get your moneys worth within the first month

but finding loot literally is the game
sure theres game dynamics and a story, but getting better gear is how you progress. it literally drives the game at every aspect, up to and including endgame

I meant more given the hype. Does it live up to it, is it a disappointment etc.

battlepass/microtransactions are my main qualm with it

theres infinite stuff to do and i love the semi open world concept they gave it.

ill definitely be pumping hindreds of hours into it on release.
but if that turns to thouaands depends on how the endgame/pvp look

Can't trust reviews for s*** like this. D3 also had an 88 on MC on launch

I mean, there have been two major betas for the game out. People have played it.

Also, Blizzard is nowhere near in the same positive standing as they were when they dropped 3.

There were also a handful of betas for D3, so people played that and look how it turned out. Don't get me wrong, I do hope it's good in the long term because I've had my fun with D3 (post RoS). I just do not trust reviews for GaaS titles because these games almost always fumble post launch. Honestly, really just need to see how the endgame actually is before giving an actual review.

PoE is fun but casuals will stay on D4 cause it’s more accessible.

I would continue to play Poe if it wasn’t for the 3rd party. Picking a league starter rather than your endgame character. The farming .

Even when you super geared you just turn into the flash and the only deaths you get is one/2 shot
