Dude released his best project at the end of 2018.So it has really only been 1 and a half year. I think it is the right choice of him not to saturate the market with his sound.

Also with collabs from Gambino and J.cole it seems like he wants to get into a more conscious lane. So maybe a break helps him changing his image away from an unofficial Migos member.

He just dropped an album in 2018 and has been doing features non stop since.
