His last 3 albums are significantly better than FAME

  • Jul 20, 2022

No BS is a classic though

His debut is Don’t Be Cruel level in my eyes. Next few albums were dope. He really needs to refocus now because although the latter releases have good songs there’s way too much filler

Nah. For me, it'll always be Exclusive. He had hits that appealed to everyone in that era. With You had girls going wild. Forever is a classic pop/dance hit. Kiss Kiss was a party banger.

I also remember some people being blown away by that guitar solo on Take You Down.

niggas haven't even delved into Breezy fr, i think it's getting really overlooked right now because of the theatrics behind an album like Wasteland and the persona Brent has.

i think wasteland is a great album too but CB smoked this joint

tiller x cb finally got a banger

sometimes you don't need a movie type of production and 5 minute skits to make your album feel cinematic. a great artist can just let the music sprak.

Gotta admit, a lot of the songs he did with Kevin Mccall were amazing. Wish they never had they lil beef or whatever it was that made them not like each other no more. Wish they were still working together on a song or 2 here and there.

As for the question in op, I'm not sure. Theres definitely an argument for that. Guess it's all a matter of opinion. Fame is kinda like CB Thriller, if I could make such a comparison. Almost every song on there could pass as a single with maybe a few exceptions.

Funny how songs grow on ppl. I remember when the song dropped on ktt1 everyone thought the song was terrible, including the cover art. Now it's like one of his biggest songs.
