Obvi my personal experience isn’t representative of the world but I will say myself and a couple other girls who were super drake Stan’s in high school have definitely lost a lot of that enthusiasm. Could just simply be growing up , but can’t deny there’s also been a shift in the music that has exacerbated it. Feel like it really went downhill when his poetry book came out and collaborating with 21 on her loss

Another day another "has Drake fallen off yet???" thread

    Praying on his downfall headasses

  • Jan 5, 2025

So what rappers do women listen to if not Drake

  • Jan 5, 2025

probably getting smacked around as a over 6foot dude by a midget that wears size 7 for a whole year straight and perhaps an upcoming whole 2nd year might have something to do with it

Relatively speaking, no one is trying to bump his new s*** like that

it's a reason why dawgs fell off so much in its fw in comparison to his average - and nothing he's done since the beef has stuck from his major label features that all flopped to his loosies n the gig ish that flopped to the things he's doing now

the last thing he's done that made waves chart wise was push up's, and the last thing he did that had the culture talking was all the footage in the gigs files while the new songs get ignored

he needs a project - and it needs to be a good one

all this p**** footing around and being coy is hurting his modern image in a major way with the average person and becoming a laughingstock

drake of 2024/2025 is only holding on by things he did 3+ years ago numbers wise, and culture wise he's slipping more and more every few months

imo he should do sumn with thug, maybe a collab album with thug as well as the collab album with party and then his own solo at the end of it all - but they need to happen pretty much back to back like a future run - especially since Kendrick isnt cooling down this year neither which them two are still very much connected at the hip for the average consumer

  • Jan 6, 2025

drake being silent would have helped his image more instead of dropping flops back to back solos n feats and/or doing things that continues to make him a bigger meme/joke to people

once people finally take you no longer serious at all its over bro for the current you going forward - thats for anyone in music

if you think drake has the same fanbase now that he had 10 years ago idk what to tell you. him goin on adin ross stream pretty much confirms this

  • Jan 6, 2025

That last tweet is on point lol

He’s a vicarious symbol for money and hard work being able to erase all your lameness. Its apart of his subconscious appeal to certain types of niggas lol

Most streamed rapper of 2024 fell off

He has hundreds of the most popular songs of the past 20 years

what you’re implying is not how streaming works

And she seems to be moreso talking cultural hold than numbers

Yall hate having convos like thay bc it requires taste and a pulse on what other people feel and not just reciting statistics lol. If we go by statistics this has been a great year for Drake but he wouldnt even tell you that last year was a great year “weird NBA season” lol

Do you know what falling off means or do I need to explain it to you?

Culturally not having the same hold

Niggas streaming some of the most iconic/nostalgic records since 2010 has nothing to do with his cultural hold now. Its like calling Em top rapper over Drake in 2010 because MMLP or whatever was still outselling TML. Culturally thats just innacurate

Its definitely a certain type of dude who goes extra hard for Drake. They usually also somewhat physically resemble him either in being “passing” white/lightskin/hispanic/middle eastern. Niggas live vicariously thru Drake fr lol

Would you still check out his new music and attend his shows? If the answer to either of those questions is yes then he hasn't lost you. And yes, it's perfectly normal for your feelings around an artist to change as their career progresses and you grow older. That's normal.

What some people are suggesting is that most of Drake's female fans have stopped supporting him at all and that's simply false.
