    tomorrow volverse

not really. y'all act like the verse changed his life & was a legendary verse. he had half a verse the real stimulus was already brewing for a minute in Durk's features and his own albums. 3 Headed Goat was already out. arguably his run started with No Auto with Uzi. it started to gave him a new buzz

this a take for GP not Ktt

nobody on here gonna admit drake put them on to anything or influenced anything they listened to in any capacity.

Drake put me on to this, tho drake d***riding gotta stop

  • Oct 4, 2021

he dont even really got solo success. Most of his major hits are with other artists

  • Oct 4, 2021

Ppl referring to Durk as "on the come up" is hilarious when Dis Ain't What U Want came out in 2013

  • Anyone that think Drake put Durk over isn’t in tune with hip hop culture like they think they are

  • Oct 4, 2021

Nope. It helped but Durk already had a solid core fanbase.

A lot of Chicago niggas do.

  • This put Durk over more than Drake did

    !!!!

LNCL would NEVER have happened without Durk popping again on his own

nah tbh that's not true. Durk did an interview around when the voice came out and said him and Drake were making songs in 2018. apparently he was close to making it onto scorpion

  • Oct 5, 2021

    lil durk stole gunna's duo.

  • Melz

2021 and we still doing the Durk owes everything to Drake shtick huh

    Um, yes.

Durk had been rapping for nearly a decade and had made himself a nice career. Had a small but loyal core fanbase and was a big deal in his own city. But that's really all he looked like he was ever gonna be. Just a regional rapper like Boosie or Nipsey.

But after LNCL Durk became a star. Maybe he would've gotten there on his own but it's impossible to say

  • Oct 5, 2021

wasn’t No Auto with Metro already planned months before LNCL even dropped

even if that got shelved he was already going up

This post is the literal definition of out of touch. Mans said Durk was going down the regional rapper path
