On the song zeus he warns drake about his fans turning on him

“And, Drake, they're gonna turn on you (you) one day too (too)
And the more you win, the sooner (sooner) they do
They'll be calling you a trash bin
Sayin' that your new one isn't better than your last and
Even if it is, once they start to turn their backs
They ain't never comin' back in"

Drake hasn't fallen down so no

Em is just salty that there's no market for a middle aged white multimillionaire complaining about black art being bad over derivative throwaway trap beats

  • Sep 25, 2023

drake is one it the biggest and most beloved rappers he hasn’t had a downfall

  • Sep 25, 2023

Downfall where isn’t his new single projected to go #1

    Drake <3

  • Sep 25, 2023

Drake’s demise has been greatly exaggerated off one single

Forget the fact he’s making like 5M a show

FOR ALL THE DOGS SO SOON

Drake's post-prime has seen him making non-stop bangers sandwiched inside of basically listenable but pretty inconsistent albums

Eminem's post-prime has seen him mangle his flow and focus obsessively on rhyming words while forgetting the most basic principles of song structure and even competent production, alienating huge portions of his hip hop fanbase and almost exclusively appealing to the exact kinds of people he swore he would never pander to during his so-called prime

Pretty clear where the difference is

  • Sep 25, 2023

To be fair to Marshall he isn’t talking about a monetary or commercial downfall

He says ‘the more you win’ the more people will turn on him. a public opinion downfall not a career downfall. So concert sales or a #1 song don’t contradict the lyrics here

(Not really sure if it’s true or if it’s having enough of an impact on drake’s position on top but still)

Eminem hasn't written a good hook since before Drake dropped So Far Gone

  • KTT Need to put respec on eminem name

    Question

If Drake falling off who took his spot? There is clearly no other rapper anywhere near as successful as he is so what are we talking about

  • Sep 25, 2023

Drake and Taylor Swift are some of the biggest artists in the world rn.

It's just that they both tend to obsess over whatever "haters" they have to the point of exaggerating how "hated" they are.

Also, Eminem is still one of the most beloved rappers OAT overseas despite how much Americans s*** on him.

Drake will probably tap out at 50 due to simply wanting to, marry a woman who is like 30 on the nose and works in the medical field in some capacity and is gorgeous, starts a family, and keeps it lowkey from thereon out

Adonis gonna be a well adjusted adult and work in finance or something

  • Sep 25, 2023

    what downfall lmao

  • “Sayin' that your new one isn't better than your last“ idk how you guys are saying this isn’t the exact case. CLB case in point
