Yes this DEFINITELY a conversation that needs to be had on the WHITEST hip-hop site in the world 🙄 mind y'all business
Nah that’s still r/hiphopheads
Jeezy was walking back and forth with his head down, couldn’t even look Gucci in the eyes. What tf was that?

Dude was noticeably nervous. That's why he kept stuttering his words and didn't even speak up for himself after Gucci kept repeatedly putting him down.
i dont understand? somebody come to violate you and you defend yourself, why the f*** would I NOT boast about that s***? f*** your dead homie tf?

People don’t understand this. If Gucci took NyQuil that night he’d be woo dancing with Tupac and pop rn

This exactly what I said
F*** Jeezy for trying to preach some bullshit when he was in the wrong trying to kill Gucci
But Jeezy did win that verzuz in the public eye lmao and also because Gucci played the most weak songs in his catalogue
Tbh nah
I don’t think Jeezy had any place to talk when he was lecturing Gucci either. If a nigga tried to kill me, even if we DO end up making up and dancing at the end like Gucci and Jeezy did, imma let you know you tried me and you failed, and if you try me again the same things gonna happen again. That’s what Gucci did and well
None of us have been in either of their shoes so can’t really say how they handled it was right or wrong
Gucci actually helped Jeezy look like better IMO because Jeezy handled very well.
But honestly who cares that’s their business
Yeah ppl who don’t know the situation between these two gonna think gucci is the aggressor. he fell for Jeezy‘s trap
All I know is
Jeezy >>>
Nah.
We saw what happened the other night bro! Nothing to debate
21 Savage's manager said Gucci won the battle. He said the streets (specifically Atlanta) went with Gucci and everywhere else went with Jeezy.

Idk since so icy had to be premeditated, the whole thing was probably setup on some wwe s***
The battle was the epitome of a Underground King vs. Rap Superstar. You can tell Gucci just wanted to play mixtape cuts and disses the entire time, but no matter how raw that is, you can't win a Verzuz battle like that. I wish he included more hits (Freaky Gurl, Black Beatles, Good Drank, Slippery, etc.) but even if he did he wouldn't have performed them with any excitement or energy. You can tell by how sluggish his delivery was on Lemonade and Wasted that he wasn't feeling it at all. He was far more passionate about his diss songs and street joints.

Agree with this especially this line. Seeing people saying Jeezy dragged Gucci just showed what they value in Hip-Hop.
Gucci at least should've played My Kitchen though.

The fact that it's even debatable means it was a victory for the underdog, Gucci. If this was any other type of Underground vs. Mainstream battle it would've been a landslide victory for the superstar, simply because more people are familiar with the work of the more popular / successful artist. People outside of the south and mixtape era don't understand how important this was for the culture. I agree. Gucci should've performed My Kitchen, Dope Boys, I'm a Star, Head Shots, Everybody Looking, etc.
