To make this short as possible. Basically, I went through the first steps of a interview process through a hr. Basically next steps was doing assignments for a programming position. I finished the assignments. I got told by hr after she was waiting on the hiring manager. Almost 2 weeks pass with no real info just a follow up I had with her in between in which no promising information was given.(seemed like a bad sign)

I found a linkedin post with one of the employees basically saying they would talk to people about the company. I hit him up and he basically pulls my profile says I did really well on the assignments(didnt ask him to look it up). I basically just wanted to learn more about the potential role if I got the job. He hit the hr rep up in the middle of a call I had with him today. She didnt seem bothered but he basically got it out of her She thought I was a good candidate but I was short by 5 years by a few months so I was kind of stuck. He told me to put other stuff on my resume I was involved in and basically told me to resend it to her. She seems cool with it but im wondering if this is gonna get me on her bad side...

You got the job right? Ok now it’s time to grind moving forward. You got imposter syndrome? You worried about her looking at you like a fraud who slimed in? Well that should be motivation to prove yourself

    But you got the job

Not necessarily yet but its pretty close now with the hard part out of the way.(assessments) And he basically is my referral now since he happens to be a hiring manger. So thats why I was worried if she had any power to basically throw me out of consideration.
