What's your favorite Jack Harkow pop song?

They actually all pretty mid, but cool for background noise

Chris brown track is cool but Harlow verse trash, First Class could’ve been better but he rushed it out cuz it got internet traction and f***e it up

Same reason doja cat fell off mainstream wise

She didn’t fall off in the slightest compared to Jack, she just released one album that didn’t have an undeniable smash

Short answer: no, Jack Harlow didn’t “destroy” his career—but he definitely hit a rough patch that hurt his momentum.

    Here’s the realistic breakdown:

    📉 What went wrong

After blowing up with songs like “Whats Poppin” and “First Class”, expectations were very high. Then:

His 2023 album Jackman. got a mixed reaction

People started calling his music too safe / low energy

Internet culture turned on him a bit (which happens fast)

It wasn’t a scandal or cancellation—it was more like: 👉 hype > delivery

📈 Why his career is NOT over

He still has massive name recognition

    He’s had multiple No.1 hits

The industry still backs him (features, festivals, etc.)

Artists like Drake or Post Malone have had similar dips and bounced back

    ⚠️ The real issue

Right now he’s in that awkward zone where:

He’s not the “next big thing” anymore

But also hasn’t fully evolved into a respected long-term artist yet

    That’s a dangerous middle ground.

    🎯 What decides his future

He’ll be fine if he does one of these:

Reinvents his sound (more depth, risk, personality)

    Drops a genuinely strong project

Or leans into a clear identity (right now it’s a bit vague)

If he doesn’t… he risks becoming one of those “had a moment” artists.

    Brutally honest take:
He didn’t crash—he just stalled. The next 1–2 projects will decide everything.

If you want, I can break down why people cooled on him specifically (it’s actually pretty interesting and useful if you're thinking about branding or creative work yourself).

It’s a discussion forum for real thoughts and jokes wtf are you posting this unironically for are you remedial

  • he’ll bounce back when his next album drop and it’s generic pop rap

As I said before, he used to fit in the "safe rapper for White girls and frat bros" lane like G Eazy before him.

But that's already a very fickle fanbase to begin with. The same White girls who used to bump Jack Harlow moved on to Morgan Wallen and that left him at the mercy of casuals who only checked for his hits and rap fans who didn't care much for his rapping to begin with.

Jack wasn't really built for longevity like that due to people not actually taking his music that seriously. He's closer to Roddy Rich than Mac Miller.

  • how?

Ask Chatgpt and discuss there 🖕

You know it’s bad when not even @Thread suggests we talk about it

the grip morgan wallen has on white women is absolutely insane

being a white boy rapper sadly isn’t cool anymore for that market

Only track I would’ve been like “he going off” but he rushed that last verse, feel like even the mainstream ain’t go full support cuz of that even without em knowin it

  • He didn’t even mess up that bad I think this is all blown out of proportion
