Did Jesus Is King change your mind about Christianity? Did it make you want to come to know God for yourself?

This album and his interviews have made me realize how complicit I am in the degradation of society, and have provided solace in returning back to the faith based ideology I was raised on. Without fear and regardless of my sins

no. sin isn’t real, original sin is self-hate philosophy- humans can save themselves from things like addiction without the need of a savior/master, the bible is man mind, man edited, and wasn’t written down for decades after christ’s death. religion doesn’t have a monopoly on morality, in fact most christians are not biblically
moral because if they were we would be living in hell where you could justifiably murder someone for eating the wrong food or wearing the wrong fabric. non-believers are not the “walking dead,” as ye would allege. in fact it’s highly contradicting for ye to be so adamant about “free thinking” yet he casts judgment when others don’t subscribe to the same cult that he does.

i’m happy that ye is happy tho, some of the songs on jik are fun if you don’t take the praise at face value

Do not agree with all your points but you make some interesting ones. Praying for full enlightenment brother, free from bias or influence from false Christians you may have encountered before.

no, it just confirmed that the modern church needs to adapt and get off the bible as the infallible/supreme rules of the religion in order to survive

  • It made me hate it even more then i did

  • Nov 6, 2019

still hate religion as an institution, I appreciated the cinematic aspect of the album though
