Speaking for myself, Jesus is king has had lots of influence over my life recently

Feeling more grateful for my life, giving it all up to God, praising him while listening to the album, praying more, etc

Songs like Up from the ashes, God Is, Jesus is Lord etc truly make me feel closer to god and i know that was the purpose of this album/era

Unfortunately no. I do actually enjoy gospel remixes of some of my fav songs now though. I've listened to Rain off the sunday choir album about 100 times

I see, when did you start to think that way?

I enjoyed the music and consider it to be Kanye's most experimental work, but It didn't make me any closer to God than I was before (which admittedly isn't very close)

From a young age it's always been that way I never seriously bought into it as far as I can remember.

My interest is purely personal and fun I don't believe it but I find the mythology interesting

Seeing Kanye's drive and newfound motivation makes me more serious about my own faith too (I'm an Orthodox Christian). It happened more than once that watching the live Use This Gospel performance softened my heart and made me repent & do my prayers, when I would be depressed and hard-hearted and unwilling to repent or do my daily prayers.
