Bro I watch this stream of consciousness in full probably at least 3 times a year since the first time I saw it.

S*** gives me a different type of feeling. It reminds me of the first time I listened to Yeezus foreal. Or when Ye did the Yeezus press run. I hadn’t felt that about the Pablo era at all until those last few dates and this final stream of consciousness is probably my favorite Kanye moment ever. I know it’s f***ed up because he’s literally a day away from going into a withdraw in this but you know what man, I felt every second of it. I’ve also been in moments where I’ve felt like the entire world is against me and I’m just a pawn on a chessboard. Hearing Kanye give this sober, unapologetic, unfiltered speech always reminded me of myself.

I love this moment so much because when it first happened I was so scared. Genuinely afraid for Kanye’s life. And now when I see him today I actually shed tears sometimes because from the moment I’ve became a fan I’ve always believed in his philosophy “if you’re a fan of me you’re a fan of yourself” and being a fan of a man who I saw go through what he went through, to get to where he is, let’s me know that I can do absolutely whatever the f*** I set my mind out to do no matter how many people try to stop me and how many obstacles there are in the way.

Was lucky enough to see the Saint Pablo show in Oakland at his highest energy, then San Jose (which honestly was a darker show than even the Sacramento breakdown), and then the above mentioned Sacramento Cudi moment of bliss and the “rant”.

Was a weird point in time and I remember after the San Jose show telling my daughter that something was definitely going down.
