The guy doesn’t have industry level mixing and mastering, and he did all the prod himself, if he has a deal it would’ve been revealed by the time the album dropped. He’s said before too he doesn’t want to sign until he’s making millions

But he’s already a young millionaire

  • dardy cinq

ken carson last album exists lmao

This is like someone praising joy division and replying “we have black flag”

    yea it’s so over man

I’m not about to put effort into going back and forth with you when everything you’ve said here just shows your in one hating position and nothing will sway u any way

Doesn’t rly seem like ur familiar with his music even enough to hate like this wonder what it is

There’s no agenda or conspiracy bro i came in off seeing his name so much genuinely prepared to like it and it pretty much sucks lol

Even on some new nigga type music ignoring the s***ty raps his flow is so choppy tryna fit this style of beat lol

  • raps

I’ve seen his name around for a year and him saying his album was gonna change music and clicked his project thinking it was gonna be some abstract post-Frank inspired s*** and its just more distorted noise music with low effort lyricism

Not even on some unc s*** what the f*** man lol

The guy talks like he’s fergie mixed with Jesus but he just makes cool music

its not rage or noise music, its just mixed harshly at times, sounds loud sometimes, and at times uses like 808s and synths.

And the writing isn't low effort man, like this is pretty earnest and clearly hes trying to write something good here even if you personally don't like it.

^this one is how he starts the album as hes walking down the steps to hell and the industry hes describing both.

he portrays mad different emotions using a vaerity biblical references, double entendres, imagery, metaphor and purpose to keep the whole project in line with the concept. Musically and even down to the mixing and sonics he does it all to serve the purpose of the story and message hes trying to tell.

There's a whole section of his website full of essays worth of notes and writings to accompany the album it puts in work to reference for goodness sake. Even the pop song single has this in it. Even some of the flex bars are purposeful for what hes going for writing wise.

guy isnt even signed yet I wouldnt call it any level manufactured artists just fw him and he got a great manager

Could be just my feed? I do follow a bunch of British people in the music scene tho

  • Maximus

The fakemink hate posts on ktt are genuinely eerie lol. There’s like a bunch of people going on and on again like they’re tryna prove a point.

What happened to disliking an album and moving on lol? Why is there an “AM I RIGHT GUYS???” Circlejerk around this album specifically?

You really think this is a hate thread?? Does anyone read anymore?

    real

about the organic thing he dropped over 350 songs a mixtape and 5 EPs for 4 years b4 he got here and hes not signed or else hed have a label attached to the project he dont even have proffesional mixing he did have a meteoric rise tho and his manager is CTI who has mad connects. Guy was on ig live like every day making fanpages to try to grow his buzz and everything

Feel like ppl just use organic rise to mean slow and gradual rise that they witnessed. just think he blew up and ppl like him

Thats dope but that alone doesnt magically turn u into a household name someone must have discovered him and connected him with dudes like wegonbeok

300 songs sounds like a lot but thats not that hard to do over the course of a few years (ive uploaded more than 300 songs and 200 beats and have gotten nowhere)

    he got a good manager.

artificial rise supposed to mean the guy didnt grind and its all label work but like this is just an independant artist that made good connects and capitalized off timing well really. I remember when he was smaller and trying to put everyone onto easter pink.
