Imma wait till the album drops with talking smack because it can be amazing (same way After Hours was the biggest surprise to me)

But literally everything he did for this album felt like After Hours Extended Edition and I was surprised that this is dropping as a stand-alone album because I really thought he was just putting out random songs to ride the After Hours wave

But hey… after hours was great and maybe this one will also be great I’m not gonna focus too much on freshness of this record

He’s considering the album to be a sister album to After Hours, so it being thematically similar to After Hours isn’t really that crazy. Even looking at the album covers you can see they’re supposed to be side by side, feel me?

I’m not mad at anyone who’s tired of the sound though, I get it 100%. I’m also hoping he moves a different direction for the next album, but with that being said everything we’ve heard so far actually sounds like a major step up from After Hours musically so I’m hoping that this s*** is gonna be as good as the snippets sounds and he goes 3/3 with his latest projects.

If the concept is that it’s a separate album but it some way a continuation of After Hours then that’s dope
