as a 25 year old thats listened to drake since i was 11 i dont get what this nigga did to yall. like this is clearly one of the greatest rappers to ever do this but just because he sings his hooks now he a popstar. literally there is no difference between drake and future yet drake is called the pop star. why cant you sing without being called a pop stari think the real things people can criticize drake on isnt even talked about, people just dont like this nigga.

I think we’d hear some music blogs/podcasts/people like Joe budden and them talk about it for a bit. But yeah Drake stans will always bring it up, Kendrick stans will say he didn’t need to. Most people will move on quick. And the same would happen if Drake hadn’t responded.

Everybody knew by the next day. It was talked about on Hot 97 in the morning and all over MTV. Summer Jam was the biggest festival. And Hov brought out Mike that night too.
Nas was laying low while they were on his ass constantly for months. But it woke him up.
^ Also came out that same summer. He wasn't silent for 6 months. Ether wasn't the response to Takeover. It was just the best one out of them all.
