Ventura: I was sleep walking, I had PTSD
    Defense: Objection!
    Judge: Overruled.
    AUSA: What's this?
Ventura: A photo of my front door in 2018. AUSA: Publish it to the jury.. Why is there a knife there?
Ventura: Sean was coming around a lot. So I had it

    More context and details:

Cassie Ventura testified that she wedged a knife in a door handle because at the time she was getting a lot of “unannounced visits from Sean where he was really angry.”

Prosecutor Emily Johnson showed the jury a photo from 2018 of the large knife in the door handle.

“Kill two birds with one stone — lock it and have a weapon,” Ventura said.

AUSA: Did you ever have s***with him again?
Ventura: Yes, voluntarily. We had a good night, I went back to his house.
AUSA: Can you explain why you did that after he raped you?
Ventura: We had been together 10 years...

AUSA: Who did you stay in touch with?
Ventura: Most people, though I pulled away...
AUSA: What did you message Sean about after that?
    Ventura: Just checking in.
AUSA: What did he send you?
Ventura: That he had iPads full of images, get him his money.

I was shook listening to the budden podcast today…allergic to holding any famous person accountable ever, always some sort of “yeah..but…”

Like just openly defend him at this point, it’s obvious they want to.

    AUSA: What happened next?
Ventura: Sean came to my house and raped me on my living room floor. His eyes were black. It was like taking something from you.
AUSA: You cried - what did Sean do?
Ventura: He continued and finished inside of me. Then he got up and left

    hope he dies

    More context and details:

Members of Combs’ security and management teams finally came into the room to end it, Ventura said, describing how she had “black eyes” and “golf-ball sized knots” on her forehead

She said that one of Combs’ security guards started to cry when he saw her.

Ventura said she had to stay at Combs’ home for a little less than a week to recover from the injuries.

Combs’ son was also staying in the house with Ventura at the time, she said.

When Combs saw her injuries during a FaceTime call, he told her to put more makeup on so his son wouldn’t see the injuries, she testified.

Damn, hearing the actual details sucks. I can’t even look at that security cam footage

    More context and details:

After a long pause sitting on the witness stand Ventura said, “And then he raped me in my living room.”

“I just remember crying and saying ‘no,’ but it was very fast,” she testified. She said she wasn’t sure if he even noticed her crying.

Ventura said she was intimate with Diddy voluntarily one other time after that instance.

She also testified that she and Diddy have had “a few check-ins” since they ended things in 2018.
“Just checking in, sending love, nothing crazy,” she said.

Ventura: Do you want me to tell the truth? It's much deeper than iPads - there was abuse, more than freak offs.

    AUSA: Did you write?

AUSA: What pain did Sean put you through?
Ventura: Shame. To carry the things that were shameful for him. I took on a lot of responsibility for that that I never should have. He brought the concept to me when I was 22. It was expected of me. I felt terrible

AUSA: How did you get chapters to Sean?
Ventura: Through my attorney. And I reached out to K.K. I asked her if he read it. She said it was not taken seriously.
AUSA: How much did you ask for the book?
    Ventura: $30 million.
    AUSA: Did you sue?
    Ventura: Nov 2023

Ventura: My mother told me someone was taking pictures of me. I went and punched her in the head.

AUSA: What happened with the lawsuit?
Ventura: It settled for $20 million, in 24 hours.
AUSA: Why are you testifying in this trial?
Ventura: I can't carry this anymore. What's wrong is wrong. I tried people like they were disposable. Escorts, anybody

  • I appreciate that the judge is overruling the defenses attempts to overrule her statements and letting her tell it all.

AUSA: How many freak offs did you have with Sean?

    More context and details:

Cassie Ventura testified that Sean “Diddy” Combs continued to threaten her after the ended their relationship.

In messages from 2019, Combs told Ventura “if I was you, I would get me my money.” Ventura said that Combs wanted to be reimbursed because her current husband, Alex Fine, was formally her personal trainer who Combs paid for.

Diddy also messaged her “YOU WILL NOT BE THREATENING ME” and said that she had “too many iPads full of skeletons.”

In the messages, Ventura said, “Do you want me to tell the truth? It’s way deeper than iPads.”

“There was way more than ‘Freak Offs,’” she testified in court this afternoon. “There was abuse, there was many things that happened over our relationship.”
