Exactly. A lot of people will look at Diddys defense & figure they went along with it no matter what

What are the remaining charges? The jury is not gonna give af about these two girls coming back to him despite realizing what happened to them.

Had a whole argument with my cousin on this very topic and he just couldn’t get it. Defended Diddy and ppl like him up and down

This case just taught me to detach from society views in a certain way because it’s a s*** show

Yeah I mean, it's really hard to NOT think that combs enterprises wasn't obviously partially, a criminal enterprise that encompassed d*** trafficking, bribery, the transportation of individuals for s***across state lines, etc.

So I mean, Idk man what's the argument for the defense or for anyone defending Diddy?

Like forget morally, just practically, do you NOT think he engaged in bribery? D*** trafficking? Blackmail w/Cassie? The obstruction of justice? Btw you just need two of these basically to prove racketeering / rico

We'll see how their temperature is on the s***trafficking as it relates to Cassie / Mia / Jane and what not but the other two to me are easy

They literally can't find him not guilty of the prostitution charge and the rico charge if they're even slightly competent.

"The enterprise engaged in diverse criminal behavior: s***trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, obstruction of justice, and d*** offenses"

-Forced Labor i.e. making employees work around the clock without pay, and having employees set up freak offs, not in their job description

-Bribery? Obstruction of justice? D*** offenses? Come on lol

Luckily this ain't what's being argued, because I believe this topic far more nuance than public discourse can reveal

    I don't disagree

Especially when you're talking about adults, especially in Daphne's case.

    He is.

The things that they took away this morning were apart of the Rico Charges.

So they took away the s***trafficking as it pertains to the rico charge, but he's still charged with s***trafficking by itself for example

    some charges got dropped??
    he walking with time served?

I was reading the posts on page 488-489 and thinking his defense team actually put up some solid arguments

It's not about Diddy actually doing the s*** or not, it's about whether the state proved the legal definition of what he was charged with (kidnapping, arson). The state probably felt they didn't prove those charges during the trial, so they're not pursuing them anymore. Like we all know Diddy was behind Cudi's car, but there's nothing actually connecting him to the act of putting that bomb in his car. Kidnapping becomes tough when your victims admitted they did whatever he said for their careers

So theyre just trying to degrade the damage he'll probably get

IMO They just felt like they didn't meet the burden of proof for those, so they simplified it for the jury.

For instance, it's one thing to say Diddy S***trafficked his girlfriends

It's another to say he s***trafficked his girlfriends as part of a criminal enterprise that encompassed the entire organization. This implies that the comb enterprise and the staff all were complicit in it, and that's...hard to prove. Many staff members alleged that they didn't know what was going on in those FO's, etc.

Ditto for the Arson. Like, what is actually connecting Diddy to him blowing up Cudi's car?

So they got rid of it

I mean Diddy really wasn't f***ing with Cudi messing with Cassie lol that's a fact. As someone who's swung a kettle bell at his son's football coach its not too much of a stretch, but part of a RICO, yeah not so much
