I don't really follow Logic but I watched an interview he did recently and it seems like he found hapinnes after his son was born and he stopped caring about trying to be accepted with his music because it didn't make him happy and it wasn't worth the mental state it put him in and he realized that there's more important things to care about, he already accomplished everything and has a lot of fans and sold out arenas
He said that he won't put out anymore albums and music but he's not entirely done with music, he has a label and artists he wants to help push and also try different things like movies etc - OPJul 25, 2020·1 replyFAN

I watched his live stream and he kept going on rants about people he invented in his head complaining about reusing some verse on the album from a leak, and the went on and on about how it was actually deep. He just seems to care too much what people think

It's never a good thing but it's what most artists are unfortunately.
As for that tide bit I'm not sure why it's such a big deal when he had an entire freestyle that he then used as lines in the intro to this album, so..
