Southland Tales got that huge budget and half of Hollywood in it and sent that dudes career crashing back to earth
Southland Tales much better than Donnie Darko imo. Doesn't make that much sense but Donnie Darko doesn't either (sry that time travel explanation is ridiculous) Tales is extremely paranoid and has some of the most startling visuals of the 00s
