The show in Arlington was great, but I could barely hear anything that they were saying, everything was absolutely drowned in bass.

Don’t know if that’s the nature of these big ass stadium tours or if the mixing was just particularly off for that show.

it’s a nature of the stadium and hiphop/R&B music unfortunately. bass heavy music is just hard to balance the wider the venue gets from what I’ve noticed

like Travis Utopia show if I didn’t already know the songs I’d slick have been a lil upset cause it’s like 70% just bass

There were people around me that were even commenting on it and looking confused when SZA performed because you legit could not hear anything she was saying.

yeah the sound doesn't travel well. In the pit everything sounds great but depending on where you are, s*** can vary.

they probably have a DJ backing the live band so everyone can hear so the backtrack bass is probably kicking like crazy, idk why they can’t have the original track and just turn down the bass lmfao
