This is why you have to be careful with who you choose to jump in bed with business wise. All those zeroes look nice on paper until you realize that they’re not just giving you this money, what they’re really doing is buying you

U say this but if he really cared then he would just stand his ground. He's made enough money it's not like he'd be suffering if they dropped him

It’s very interesting, and worth the read. I’ve recently became VERY interested in geopolitics so I’ll do my best to explain. If any other posters wanna chime in, by all means. It’s basically the U.S’ dearest ally in the Middle East. The reasons are as follows:

Financially: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the richest country pretty much in the Middle East (which grants it A LOT of influence), has historically sometimes told the U.S to f*** off, based off the sheer power of its insane wealth lol. Israel could serve as a buffer in the region to potentially sway influence for the US or even help contain the KSA. Israel is fairly wealthy.

Military-wise: Iran also doesn’t get along with the US. The “strongest/nuclear-armed” ally that the US has NEAREST to the Middle East to help defuse & mitigate this (and is an Islamic country, which is important), is Pakistan - BUT, it won’t be able to help the US as it has cordial relations with Iran (“Hi, Hello, How’s the weather?”), AND it is pretty much KSA’s bulldog (Pakistan, being an Islamic republic, will protect Saudi Arabia with every inch of its being). Therefore, the U.S will probably rely on Israel for any military operations it wishes to lead in the region, and Pakistan (which is in South Asia but technically half its territory is in the Middle East), will respectfully need to bow out as a 3rd unrelated party (as long as Saudi Arabia isn’t attacked).

Doesn’t matter. The fear of loss will always be greater than the will to do good. That’s why courage and sacrifice are what they are and why so few of us throughout history have been willing and able to do it. Money is just a tool. It has no real value in and of itself. We create the value. But when attached to something intangible like your passion or what feeds your spirit, your relationship to it changes. It’s not the money you fear losing but the illusion of freedom it gave you, freedom to pursue your passion, freedom to do what you love, etc...the fear of losing that is nearly insurmountable for the average person and although he plays the hulk, he’s still only human

You’re welcome! The most important thing here is to remember that, it’s just a huge ally for the US interest in the Middle East. And even though one of its other allies is heavily respected & low-key feared in the Middle East as well (Pakistan), that country can’t operate flexibly like Israel can in the region due to its own CLOSE ties with China/Saudi Arabia, + its personal beef that keeps it busy with India lol.

The reason why Pakistan can’t technically be considered “Middle Eastern” btw is due to its capital being in South Asia (near India), but the other half of its body does touch Iran + the gulf of Oman (it’s water touches Oman, UAE/Dubai, etc).
