Uzi & Yachty praise 00s and 10s rappers like Wayne, Kanye, Drake, Future, Thug, etc because they came around 2 decades after Wayne & Kanye

they respect their elders for a decade and change back the same way Wayne & Kanye did, but a decade & change back from Wayne & Kanye was formative years for the genre while it was fully formed a decade & change back for Uzi & Yachty

basically, they’ve been asked to be more knowledgeable than Wayne & Kanye to even begin in the genre
