Atlantic signed Youngboy and I'm not entirely sure how well that's working out for him and that label since he's currently in jail and facing very serious charges. The kinda charges that got the FBI involved.
alright well your opinion is wrong by definition so nothing more can be discussed
It’s not
You said the same exact s*** you dumb f***

Try followin the convo cuz if I did the Shaq guy I was talkin too woulda most def pointed it out

he was talking ab the love someone like youngboy gets compared to meg
meg was getting all the looks and awards when her music is mid and she wasnt that popular. youngboy music resonates with the fans a lot, yet he never had any support. why is that?
Youngboy literally be fighting fed cases and all types of s***. Same with Kodak.
If both them niggas stayed out of trouble their industry clout would be way bigger
Not what a plant is lol. She's a likable person with a machine behind her.
exactly lol

I get you have comprehensive issues, but you quoted @Goo saying by definition what he said was an loser
All while saying it wasn't before that
Wasn't needing your bum ass attention while you are in here being a weirdo projecting
It's almost like Youngboy has a history of being in and out of jail and problems with the law that has been f***ing up his career growing as most labels see signing him as a risk.
If you were a label would you risk signing an artist who is frequently in trouble with the law along with other baby mama s*** to a long term contract knowing that at any moment they can get arrested and locked up or get caught up in some street s*** and end up dead?
i'm not talking about label signings lol, both of them are signed to majors iirc. it's more awards, blog postings, big interviews, etc.
we can also ignore yb if you want and take uzi for example. same s*** applies --> great reception from the fans, almost none from the industry. he was talking about the different price tags and connections you need to have to be pushed lol, like getting a blog press run on a viral post is about 100k, a time cover is about 250k, every single award you see handed out in these shows are paid for, etc. it's all about connections and pay to play lol and some (like meg) profit from this system like crazy while some others dont lol

It’s all the same s*** at the end of the day
you got a nigga in the game who's literally telling you "man i'm getting paid for a lot of this s*** and I know for a fact others are too, I've seen checks getting handed out to make a song blow, i know the schemes and the different price points to get something in the media, etc." and niggas still refuse to believe it it's insane
It’s all the same s*** at the end of the day
Naw it’s not tho tell a nigga who is in 2 year drought he’s an loser and u might catch one in the face
This is flagrant. But this is how you really know he has a majority white fanbase of teenagers and niggas who hate their own. S*** is very sad to see, but not unexpected by a fat nigga who gets paid to talk s***, report "news", and get drunk playing 2K.
Unfortunately most black men are the ones hating on their own women

Nigga according to wat? Stop listenin to Twitter narratives

If you’re in a two year drought and it’s not by your own choice then you’re an loser for that period

ite bruh u got it lmfaoo
He's not wrong. Good News is a terrible album and Meg has won awards she did not deserve because she rebtanded herself as a victim and she's embraced this whole "protect Black women" schtick that she's only up for when the Black woman in need of protection is herself.
ite bruh u got it lmfaoo
If you getting rejected for two years straight how you not gonna be an loser. That’s a long time to face nothing but rejection
Nigga according to wat? Stop listenin to Twitter narratives

I mean it kinda plays in the same hand. Youngboy is always in and out of trouble and is too caught up in street s***. It's very likely why award shows, blogs, publications, etc don't be reporting on him or reaching out for interviews.
If an artist's reputation is negative a lot of these media outlets might not want to involve themselves with that artist. It's the same thing with Kodak over the last couple years.
I don't think you can use Uzi as an example in this because I'm positive he has a lot of media outlets who would want to do features and interviews with him. However we know that Uzi is...well very weird. He's been featured in interviews and stuff like that before for GQ, Complex, and Billboard. However he has also had issues with his own label/management/whatever when it came to releasing music. But I'm sure he'd have a much easier time getting booked for a media/blog run than Youngboy or Kodak
