It is so crazy how much information people share about themselves online. Then they pride themselves on the ignorance too.
This is crazy
Pov:
Youre a girl minding your own buisness just existing in life and a new snap from some guy youve only seen once or twice at the local community college just popped up
The new snap 👆

You cant be a real person online while also being an a******
S*** gonna go left eventually
Either hacking, your ass beat or jail

Been saying for a while that the post-2008 internet is wildly different than before. People will upload and broadcast so much private information of their life to the public. They don't realize it will come back to bite them, especially if they use their real name.

I keep myself as who i am too but i stick to normie sites besides ktt2 & i do buisness at home for animals and music that involves online, so i have to be me to an extent as a person for clients n such.
But i never go deep into specifics or too deep nor overdone personal diaries.
Also i might clown around here n there not a straight up a****** nor do i ever cross the line.
If youre gonna be a real person, treat the internet like outside. Keep what stays in your house, in your house. And in general treat others like you would want to be treated unless provoked.
People literally just need to treat online as if its another part of outside, instead of treating it like its another part of your own house.

Smart idea and even revealing basic stuff about yourself is okay as long as you don't tie it to your real name or anything on social media (unless you trust that person).
The real problem is people using Twitter under their real names or tiktok videos showing themselves saying and doing stupid s***.
The younger generation didn't learn this and they were never taught internet safety. It genuinely shows as well, between all of the "moral policing" s*** (like digging through someone's accounts) and doxxing that happens. Pure insanity.

Yup or people make the mistake of treating every part of the internet like its the same. You cant treat everything like facebook/Twitter.
And if you dont need to be public online like for a home buisness or whatever then you really shouldn't be all that revealing outside of very very basics at most that arent your personal timeline.
But yeah even people that arent so anonymous fall into the trap of thinking the internet is separate or not as serious so you exaggerate or be "a character" which is where most the issues arrive.
Like i said, you cant be a real person while also being a straight up a****** online. And in general if you want to be a real or semi real person, treat online like its outside - not your house. Then it will help people avoid 90 percent of the issues. The 10 percent will be from way oversharing. Which can kinda be avoided still if youre not gullible or arent an a****** aka giving people a reason to f*** with you. But its best to avoid that 10 percent at all cost if can be tho.
Luckily I had parents that were fine with social media but taught me not to overshare and treat it like its real life or a classroom.
Sucks that a good amount of people will either fall into extremes or become an exaggerated version of themeselves (or just make up an identity all together that is a caricature).

Facts. Being a private person online always made me feel kinda lame when I was younger (cause everybody else def wasn't) but now I see it as a blessing

I cut his stream off to watch the Tank fight. He was rambling about nothing so I didn’t tune back in afterwards.
Did he address all of this later on?

Really good opinion that holds so much truth. We've entered a time period where people who are "just trolling" become delusional and start to believe some of the stuff they say.
There needs to be a term (or if there is someone needs to share) for this phenomenon. The blurring of lines between reality and the digital world.
Agreed with you about how treating every part of the internet like Facebook and Twitter is destined to be a bad thing. Especially in manners where it's not the same type of website at all.
Luckily had a similar situation as you, during elementary school we had classes about internet safety and police talk to us about "never share your name on the world wide web!".

You didn't fall into what eventually turned into a mass psychosis.
I don’t even know this nigga but he got me rolling
