Also peep how his gun was already out before she was in motion to stab anyone and was in distance where a taser would work
Nah this ain’t it
Obviously but are they just supposed to be out driving around patrolling the streets waiting for a call?
You understand my point?
I think we should train people to be safety officers in Mental Health. But for the time being, Mental Health professionals can deescalate the situation.
Yes
if that's ur assumption then why would the cop make a decision that'd save the pink girl's life when he could otherwise choose to have the pink girl get stabbed and the stabber goes to jail
wouldn't that make more sense in a racially motivated context
Here’s a controversial statement of my own: I would have no problem if he shot her just once
This is the one. One time, aiight. But my g FOUR times. Anyone who doesn’t think that’s excessive is a trip.

I 100% agree. But I’m saying when you have situations like this, those mental health professionals can’t get there fast enough. Cops can. That’s the issue.
Ah yes, officers with anger problems should definitely de escalate a situation with a person with autism.
Why are you assuming this?
de-escalate you into a coffin
C'mon fam

Because cops are more trigger happy when it involves black people

It shouldn’t be like that tho is my problem, in my ideal world it would be like what I detailed.
Also peep how his gun was already out before she was in motion to stab anyone and was in distance where a taser would work
she still had the knife though, it didn't need to be in a stabbing motion, just seeing it would trigger that
they might suddenly rush at someone with it, they got to be cautious
Literally look at the last seconds of the vid
Looking at this angle...I don't know man, the cop definitely looked like he could've gotten one or two tasers off on somebody. And from the look of it he was right next to Makiah at some point before she charged at somebody.
Man this whole situation is a mess, throw everyone involved in jail
Not gonna lie, homie need to get in the weight room. You can’t tell me that if he was more swole he wouldn’t have stopped her the first time he tried to grab her/move her
But sadly, this situation was already so highly escalated by the time they got there I don’t really know what else he could’ve done

Especially that bum Father, lock him up for years for tryna beat up a lil girl

Also no firefighter or ambulance or anyone is going into a dangerous scene unless it's cleared and safe.
40% of officers beat their wives
What if this officer was in the 60% lol
What if this officer was in the 60% lol
Hypothetical situation, officers usually come in pairs, statistically one of them is an abuser

I would've tackled her or tased her.
Now or ever in the future
Will we get your opinion on this case in the near future or at all?
let’s be honest. same cop pulls up and white girls doing exact same thing. what y’all think?
does he ever even draw the gun?
Because cops are more trigger happy when it involves black people
so why not just shoot her while she's stabbing her? if he's doing this action purely because he's motivated by racism, that'd also make more sense.
my point is that you're reaching by acting like this situation has more to do with race than practicality. saying he should've used a taser assumes that the ideal outcome would've definitely happened despite a taser being less likely to stop the stabbing that was gonna occur in like 1 second. we don't know whether or not the outcome will be ideal, that's why it's about probability. n he went w/ probability because he had 2 seconds to see the event and react

No. He tases or lets off a warning shot

It’s impossible to know. He saw a knife and a girl ready to stab someone. That’s all that matters.

The other girl possibly dies from being stabbed.
