    Theory

Peyton Ham was a white teen who was shot and killed like last week. He had an air soft gun, cops shot him. He then pulled out a knife, was told to drop the knife, and was shot again

hate when people only see these occurrences as a race issue and not a police issue

It’s a sad situation all around. People saying she didn’t deserve it. Well yeah, duh nigga lmao but had she been allowed to literally murder the chick what would we be saying then? It’s just unfortunate. F*** him either way but it’s wild to me how people don’t understand how grey area stories like this are purposely being pushed to the forefront in order to justify how misguided are anger towards policing is lmfao like watching it play out on Twitter and even here is both sad and fascinating because the situation is not nearly as black and white as people are trying to make it and I’m not talking racially, I’m talking about the few seconds one has to make a split decision that you know will ultimately cost someone their life potentially. The focus should be on why these young women thought they had to resolve what was likely a petty disagreement through violence? It’s just unfortunate. F*** that cop though regardless

nah the focus should be on why paid professionals kill (black) ppl in situations that can be handled more civilly.

Envy is technically both right and wrong. Cops are allowed to use force when someone else is in harms way, but at the end of the day, their job is to take them down in a way where they can pay for their crimes. The justice system demands that they face prison time for what they did first, not death.

Most cops are trained to use deadly force when they feel that THEIR life is at risk. Of course, cops will just say s*** like that to get away with killing black people.

  • Mmm Hmm

I would've tackled her or tased her.

He’s prolly never tackled anyone in his life look at his arms

i dunno their explicit training but i really can't imagine that they would also not be guided to use lethal force on someone who is putting another's life in immediate risk

    He’s not wrong at all

If somebody charged at my daughter with a knife you damn right I would want the cop to shoot that person regardless if they die or not

It’s a sad situation but honestly I’ve never seen a cop just stand there while somebody attempts to murder somebody in front of them

I mean what she did was wrong

But I feel like same scenario in UK would've played out differently or any other western country.

I would go as far and say this probably would've ended differently in any other country but US

Yeah she wrong but I feel like it was overkill. One shot or tasing her would’ve been more than enough. There were other ways that could’ve been handled. We’ve seen cops handle worse people than her in the past. I just can’t give them no passes. Our cops need better training. These dudes are too trigger happy for me.

Americans are so f***ing brain dead about our militarized police force. You can train people in disarming and use of non lethal force but american police are f***ing jingoist thugs and want nothing more than to go out and shoot someone every day. It's disgusting.

It may be different cause I'm in Canada, but when I was in high school I became friends with the school cop, which was bizarre tbh cause I f***ing hate cops now. But anyway, he told me about how their training went. They need to be able to assess a situation and use their best judgement on how to de-escelate in a way that no one gets hurt.

No one actually follows that guideline though, clearly. There is always a better way these cops can handle these situations. ACAB.

Nah it’s if the person is a danger to their self, any other bystander, and the cop

They pulled over an active duty soldier and pepper sprayed him and told him that he should be scared to get out of the car
Police really think they hot s***

  • Just a reminder no one should ever take this clown serious. Envy genuinely is one of the worst media personalities

I disagree. I don’t think paid service providers should show up with guns to fistfights and knife fights and kill people. regardless of race.

ppl add a bunch of details to complicate the thinking, but it’s really pretty simple.

it’s not even likely that girl was going to be able to kill the other girl with that steak knife. but now someone’s dead.

How is it not likely that someone could have died from being sliced/punctured with a knife.

What's the point of even saying that at all.

It still happens here. Canada isn't some holy land where everything is perfect. Police murder black people, indigenous people, and turn a blind eye to the trafficking of PoC women. It's a systematic issue in all police forces.
